The Poets Heart – Live Online Course
£39.99
Join me for The Poet’s Heart, a deep immersion into romantic poetry as a lived, breathing practice. Together, we’ll step fully into the role of the romantic poet — learning to recognise yearning, desire, and devotion in the world, and to write as an act of address: to the lover, the absent, the remembered, the imagined.
We’ll work with metaphor, myth, rhythm, and voice, exploring how to astonish and move — speaking through nature and the body, balancing truth with the necessary “red lie,” and letting imagination bridge the ordinary and the sublime. Through intimate writing exercises, spoken recital, and reflective discussion, we’ll explore lyric momentum, monologue and confession, musicality, and the pulse of a living poem.
We’ll close by looking forward together — how to keep writing through doubt, how to rekindle curiosity, and how to carry a romantic way of seeing into the work that comes next.
